CA Immo Lets Well, Green and on a Long-Term Basis in Munich

Frankfurt, 23 May 2023 – In the last few weeks, CA Immo has concluded and extended seven leases for around 40 % (approx. 1,900 m²) of the space in the Nymphenburg medical centre in the Ambigon building in Munich. All rental agreements were concluded on a long-term basis with a term of 10 years.

A special feature is that all rental agreements were concluded as so-called "green leases". In addition to the usual economic details, the contracting parties mutually commit to far-reaching measures for the most sustainable, resource- and environmentally friendly operation of both the building and the office space. These include agreements on the purchase of regeneratively generated energy (electricity/heat), the exchange of consumption data, and the use of resource-saving and environmentally friendly materials in the fit-out of the rented space. Special attention is also paid to the ongoing and transparent monitoring of energy consumption through the use of so-called smart meters. The aim is to evaluate the individual energy consumption of the tenants and to advise the tenants on this basis in order to be able to optimize the respective energy balance if necessary.

CBRE acted as an advisor and agent for the new leases. With the conclusion of the contracts, the mixed-use (office, medical centre, retail) Ambigon is fully let with a total lettable area of around 15,400 m².
