For what purpose will your personal data be processed?

CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (hereinafter also referred to in short as “CA Immo”) saves and processes the personal data provided by you when ordering reports from CA Immo. The provision of your personal data is necessary in order for you to be able to receive the CA Immo reports by e-mail or by post. If you did not provide your personal data, you would not be able to receive the CA Immo reports.

Who will CA Immo forward your personal data to?

Your personal data will be forwarded exclusively to third-party advertising service providers (so-called “data processing companies”) in order to be able to send you product- and business-related information from CA Immo. The data processing companies are obliged by law and by contract to process the data solely in compliance with the instructions issued by CA Immo, and they are not permitted to use the data in particular for their own purposes or to forward the data to third parties. 

How long will CA Immo keep your personal data?

In principle, CA Immo will keep your personal data only to be able to dispatch reports. Thereafter CA Immo will keep your personal data for evidential purposes for as long as legal claims in connection with the order of reports can be asserted. Your data will be deleted not later than 4 weeks after dispatching the requested report.

What rights do you have in connection with the processing of your personal data?

Withdrawal of consent

CA Immo saves and processes your personal data on the basis of your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent again at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of data processing up to the time of withdrawal of your consent. 

Right to information

You may demand to be informed about the origin, the categories, the duration of retention, the recipients, the purpose of your personal data processed by CA Immo, and the nature of their processing.

Right to correction and deletion

If CA Immo processes personal data that are incorrect or incomplete, you may demand their correction or completion. You may also demand the deletion of unlawfully processed data. However, please note that this applies only to incorrect, incomplete or unlawfully processed data.

Right to limitation

If it is unclear whether your processed personal data are incorrect or incomplete or are being processed unlawfully, you can demand as from 25.05.2018 that processing of your data be limited until this issue is finally resolved. 

Right to object

Even if your personal data are correct and complete and are processed lawfully by CA Immo, you may object to the processing of these data. However, this is only possible in special situations for which you must give a reason.

Right to data transferability

PAs from 25.05.2018 you can receive the personal data processed by CA IMMO that CA IMMO has received directly from you in a machine-readable format determined by CA IMMO, or ask CA IMMO to forward such data directly to a third party of your choice, provided such recipient enables CA Immo to do so technically and the data transfer neither requires unreasonable effort on the part of CA Immo nor is barred by statutory or other duties of secrecy or confidentiality considerations on the part of CA Immo or third parties.

Other information

Please note that your rights complement each other, and that you can only demand either the correction or completion of your data or their deletion. 

In order to assert all the above rights, please contact the contact person named below in writing (by letter or e-mail). 

As from 25.05.2018 you also have the right to make a complaint to the data protection authority if you feel that your personal data are being processed in violation of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679).
