Deputy Head of Capital Markets CAID

What does your day-to-day work as Deputy Head of Capital Markets look like?

My day-to-day work is very varied. The Capital Markets team is responsible for various areas, such as investor relations and representing the company in investor relations. We are also responsible for capital market-based financing projects, both equity and debt. These tasks are supplemented by internal and external reporting obligations, as well as strategic projects in which the entire Capital Markets team is regularly involved. These diverse tasks and responsibilities give my day-to-day job a multitude of interfaces with internal, as well as external contacts. This makes my job particularly exciting. The close cooperation gives me a wide range of insights into corporate development and management, which means I am part of many important decisions.

What background do you need to perform your job?

In order to perform my job, it is necessary to have a combination of knowledge in finance and real estate. Practical experience in both areas as well as the completion of relevant courses of study are useful. In general, an analytical approach, flexibility and a great willingness to learn are of great importance. In addition to the know-how you have already acquired, the most important thing is the will to keep developing yourself and to take on new tasks.

What do you appreciate about CA Immo as an employer?

What I appreciate about my work and CA Immo as an employer is the interdisciplinarity, as well as the strongly networked cooperation with many other teams. Therefore, trust and close cooperation within the team is very important to me. This applies not only to internal departmental projects, but also to cross-departmental cooperation in the course of day-to-day work, as well as special projects. The constantly growing area of responsibility offers me many opportunities for professional and personal development. The further training opportunities offered by the company also underline this. In less than five years, I was able to develop from Executive Assistant to the Management Board to a member of the Capital Markets team, then to Capital Markets Manager and finally to Deputy Head of Capital Markets.
