You are Deputy Group Head of Corporate Office and Group Head of Compliance at CA Immo. What is your day-to-day work like?

My day-to-day work is very varied. As a team, we support many different projects, applying our knowledge in a wide range of legal areas and thus developing important bases for decision-making. In the Corporate Office, our responsibilities include corporate law, capital market law and committee support. My area of responsibility is also rounded off by the area of compliance. The main areas of responsibility here are capital market compliance, corporate governance and issues relating to internal guidelines and the legal framework.

My everyday life is characterized by exchange and cooperation with colleagues at all CA Immo locations. This results in an enriching exchange on different topics and cultures.

What challenges are associated with your work?

I really appreciate challenges as they give me the necessary motivation to solve different issues in our broad field of activity. I find analyzing and processing the sometimes complex issues that are addressed to our team extremely rewarding and fulfilling.

What qualities do you need to have to be successful in your position?

In addition to strong legal expertise, an understanding of tax and business management processes is of great importance. The ability to think analytically and in a networked manner and a keen interest in the real estate sector are also required. In addition, flexibility, a sense of responsibility, the ability to work in a team, open-mindedness, problem-solving skills and a good ability to deal with time pressure play a decisive role in rounding off this requirement profile.

What I particularly appreciate about CA Immo as an employer is the strong team spirit among my colleagues, the pleasant working environment and the numerous exciting projects. The flat hierarchies facilitate open communication and contribute to a positive working atmosphere. Another reason for my satisfaction is the flexible working hours. This makes it possible for me to not only "reconcile" my demanding job and my responsibilities as a mother of two children, but to really fulfill them and meet the respective requirements.
