Christoph Renovanz

Christoph Renovanz - Real Estate Development Manager

What do you particularly like about your job at CA Immo?

CA Immo stands for the development of high-quality projects through to entire quarters in prime city centre locations that make a lasting positive change to the cityscape of Berlin, Frankfurt or even Munich. This is what makes the job so appealing.

What kind of interaction do you have with other departments in your role as Real Estate Development Manager?

As a Real Estate Development Manager, there is hardly a department that you don't come into contact with. Whether it's Corporate Communications in relation to the external appearance of the project, the colleagues from Legal, who more than support us in drafting contracts, Controlling for the regular comparison of figures and budgets, or Asset Management, which usually takes over the project into CA Immo's portfolio after realisation, to name just a few. You will work with many different people from different departments in the team!

Which project are you particularly proud of?

Every project has its own special challenges and makes it unique; these can be of a very different nature. In the end, overcoming these challenges fills you with pride. I am particularly proud that we at CA Immo develop innovative and sustainable buildings that provide answers to the needs of users and at the same time embody a high-quality architectural language.

What should people know about the profession? What do you recommend to people who are also interested in this career path?

The job is incredibly varied and requires a broad knowledge of the technical, economic and legal aspects of real estate. Structured work and prioritisation help me to cope with the wealth of tasks in my day-to-day work. My recommendation? A real estate-specific study programme that takes a generalist approach and a certain passion for real estate.
