Topping-out ceremony for the ATMOS building in Munich's Arnulfpark

Munich, 21 February 2008 - Seven months after breaking ground, Vivico has completed preliminary construction work on the roughly 27,000-square-metre ATMOS office building in Munich's Arnulfpark®. The pharmaceutical company Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) will begin moving into its new German headquarters in the building this summer.
"This is Munich's fastest building site. In just seven months, we've not only completed the shell construction, but have also already mounted a large part of the façade for the first building unit," said a delighted Stephan Kleber, head of Vivico Munich, speaking at today's topping-out ceremony. "My thanks for this go out especially to the construction crew working for our general contractor, the team of S. Pöttinger GmbH & Co. KG and Ed. Züblin AG, but also to our architects, KSP Engel & Zimmermann, as well as to all specialised planners and consultants involved."
In addition to the ATMOS building, Vivico will also be developing the roughly 31,000-square-metre SKYGARDEN office building in the Quartier Luft (air quarter) in Arnulfpark®. Just last year, Vivico completed the VELUM commercial and residential building in the same quarter. Still to come in the first quarter of 2008, the Spanish hotel group HOTELES TURISTICOS UNIDOS S.A. (HOTUSA) will begin work on a 4-star-plus hotel, and home builder CONCEPT BAU - PREMIER GmbH will start construction on approximately 80 flats.
