Spanish insurance company leases office space in RheinTriadem®

Cologne, 18 April 2007 – The Spanish insurance company Mapfre Empresas, based in Madrid, is opening its German office in the RheinTriadem® complex in Cologne. The company has leased space in the imposing building that was once a presidential villa and has been recently renovated by Vivico. The RheinTriadem® complex on Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer also includes two new office buildings in which PriceWaterhouse Coopers, the Loschelder law firm and the Cologne branch of the BHF Bank have their headquarters.
Mapfre Empresas, which is a subsidiary of Mapfre, the largest Spanish insurance group, specialises in industrial insurance and is one of Europe’s leading companies in this market segment. With its new regional office in the RheinTriadem® complex, the company intends to target both Spanish and multinational companies that have operations in Germany. In addition, the company would like to offer its services as an insurance partner to major German corporations.
