PlasmaSelect rents offices in Munich's ATMOS building

Munich, 5th May 2008 PlasmaSelect AG's head offices are moving at the beginning of 2009 to the new ATMOS office building in Munich's Arnulfpark®. The international healthcare holding company has signed a rental agreement with Vivico for around 2,500 square metres of office space in the building next to Hackerbrücke.
"The main reason behind our decision in favour of ATMOS were not only the building's central and prominent location, but above all its sophisticated overall concept and the positive and modern image of the Arnulfpark development," says Karl-Heinz Riggers, CEO of PlasmaSelect AG.
Vivico has developed a holistic comfort concept for the 26,800-square-metre ATMOS office building designed by KSP Engel und Zimmermann. Its principle features are transparent architecture, generous courtyards, a host of communication zones and the consistent application of ecologically sound building materials. In addition, ATMOS covers up to 50 per cent of its energy needs from renewable sources.
"We are seeing increasing demand in the Bavarian capital for large, high-quality and contemporary office space in its central area," says Stephan Kleber, head of Vivico Munich. "Because current stocks cannot satisfy demand here, our new ATMOS and SKYGARDEN developments in Arnulfpark have come onto the market at just the right time."
Even before construction began, the international pharmaceuticals group Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) signed a rental agreement for 10,600 square metres of office space in ATMOS to become the site of its German head office from summer 2008. Vivico plans to begin construction of the neighbouring 30,000-square-metre SKYGARDEN office building this year. Like the completed VELUM office and apartment building, it was designed by architects Bothe Richter Teherani (BRT).
