Frankfurt, 7 August 2007 Vivico is to develop an additional site on the Boulevard in the Europaviertel. In a joint venture with Realgrund AG, Ulm, around 160 apartments with approx. 16,700 square metres of gross floor area will be built ready for occupancy on the southern end of the Boulevard.
Around 110 apartments will be built along the Boulevard as rental apartments, with approx. 50 owner-occupied apartments constructed in the form of three attractive town villas. Also planned is a rental area of approx. 500 square metres for catering businesses and small retailers, together with an underground car park containing 150 parking spaces. The architects for the entire complex are Jo.Franzke Architekten, and the planning application will be submitted before the end of 2007. Construction is planned to begin in spring 2008, and should be complete by the end of 2009.
The apartments will be tailor-made for modern urban living, thereby reinforcing the Boulevard's image as a lively district containing a mix of apartments, offices, eating establishments and businesses.
Vivico Frankfurt sold an initial group of buildings to an investor in December 2006, and work on the first 190 apartments on the Boulevard is set to begin in the autumn of 2007.
