FURTHER SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS FOR THE POLECZKI BUSINESS PARK IN NOVEMBER 2011

At a symposium held by the Polish Green Building Association from 15 - 18.11. 2011, the Polish major project, “Poleczki Business Park” received an award for the best pre-certified site.

 

The project was also awarded a prize on 30.11.2011 at the CEE Green Building Awards Gala in the category “LEED Pre-certificate for Shell & Core”.


Winner of the “International Property Award”
As long ago as September 2011, the development project for the current, second construction phase received the “5-Star Highly Commended International Property Award” in the “Mixed Use Development” category. The award was presented on 23 September at Property Summit Europe 2011 in London.

The “International Property Award” looks at residential and commercial property from all over the world and awards prizes every year for the best performances by companies in every area of the property industry. Participants submit their property projects at national level. These are then assessed by an experienced team of experts. The awards are spread across the regions of North and South America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, Arabia and Great Britain. The highest-scoring participants from each region take part in the presentation of the “International Award”.

About the Poleczki Business Park
The Poleczki Business Park is being implemented as a 50:50 Joint Venture by the CA Immo New Europe Project Development Fund and UBM Realitätenentwicklung AG. The modern office district is being developed on a site with a total area of about 140,000 sqm, close to Warsaw Airport and directly adjacent to the motorway bypass that is currently being built. The project is the largest of its kind anywhere in Poland and comprises several construction phases and a total of 16 buildings. The first construction phase – consisting of two building complexes – was completed at the end of the second quarter of 2010 after a construction period of just under two years. Investment for the total construction project has been calculated at about € 250 million.
