Berlin, 01. October 2020 – CA Immo has concluded a lease extension and expansion to a total of around 4,700 sqm of lettable space in the Berlin office building "Am Karlsbad 11" with an investment grade tenant.
 

Sonja Bischoff, Head of CA Immo Berlin: “The lease was extended at the current market price level and confirms that we can still tap considerable economic potential in this building, which was only acquired in spring. We believe that we are on the right track with our strategy for repositioning the building in this sub-market.”
 

CA Immo acquired the office building “Am Karlsbad 11”, which has a rental area of around 10,000 sqm, in April 2020. The building is centrally located in the immediate vicinity of Potsdamer Platz and is fully let. CA Immo also owns three other fully let properties in the immediate vicinity. In addition, CA Immo started construction of the new office building “Grasblau” in this location at the beginning of the year. “Grasblau” will have a rental space of around 12,700 sqm and will be completed in 2022.
