CA Immo Reaches Full Occupancy of the "ZigZag" Office Building in Mainz

Mainz, 30/11/2022. The ZigZag office building developed by CA Immo in Mainz Zollhafen as a green building with a total rental area of around 4,600 m² is fully let. CA Immo completed the state-of-the-art and fully digitalised building in 2021. Most recently, four leases were drawn up for a total of around 1,300 m² with the companies UKA Meißen Projektentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG, Vistafon Consulting GmbH, Felten Personalservice GmbH and Sushi 51 MZ GmbH. Colliers International acted as advisor in the conclusion of the leases.
 
Other tenants in ZigZag, which is located directly at the river port, are the Verband Pflegehilfe, the PIONEERS Unternehmensgruppe and Paigo GmbH, which belongs to the Bertelsmann subsidiary Arvato Financial Solutions.
 
For all tenants, the key criteria in their decision to rent were the attractive location in the Zollhafen Mainz quarter development, the high level of space efficiency and flexibility as well as the high-quality building fittings.
 
Developed by the architectural firms MVRDV (Rotterdam) and morePlatz (Berlin), the building is located by the northern port basin of the city's quarter and offers nearly 4,600 m² of leasable space over six floors. The flexible floor plans allow for all room configurations common today, from individual offices to open space solutions. An innovative and at the same time sustainable purely digital concept was developed for room control. For example, the light and room temperature are conveniently controlled via smartphone or tablet. Radio technology has been used throughout instead of more conventional cabling, sparing natural resources.
 
The Zollhafen Mainz quarter is being developed in a joint venture between CA Immo and Stadtwerke Mainz AG. The development around the 80,000 m² harbour basin comprises a total of 300,000 m² of floor space. Here, an urban mix of customisable townhouses, condominiums for around 2,500 residents and modern office buildings with around 4,000 workplaces is gradually being created. Restaurants, hotels, day-care centres, shopping facilities and highly attractive leisure facilities make the Zollhafen Mainz a sought-after address.
