CA Immo introduces Riverside Karlín park and office campus – the now completed and newly renamed Prague hotspot for both leisure and business

  • The Riverside Karlín office campus consists of five buildings, Danube House, Nile House, Amazon Court, Mississippi House and Missouri Park, the last two buildings were completed two years ago
  • A new large public space was created on the Karlín bank of the Vltava River, also easily accessible from Holešovice thanks to the HolKa footbridge
  • The entire campus managed by CA Immo bears the new name Riverside Karlín
  • A new preschool has been opened for families from the surrounding area from September; additional stores, cafes and other local services will be available soon
  • River Rink already operates here all year round, transforming the winter ice rink into a place where varied cultural and sports activities take place

The extensive transformation of Rohanské nábreží under the baton of the real estate company CA Immo did not end with the construction of the last office building. After almost twenty years, the originally unused area on the right bank of the Vltava river has become a sought-after part of the city, where people go not only to work, but also to relax, play sports and have fun. The complex of a total of five office buildings, which are named after rivers from around the world – Danube House, Nile House, Amazon Court, Mississippi House and Missouri Park – has just been completed by a newly created park, which opens the entire area to the general public.

It is accessible not only from Karlín, but also from Holešovice, thanks to the newly commissioned pedestrian bridge with the already popular nickname HolKa. Cyclists can even come here directly from the city center on the backbone cycle path A2, which only recently received a new asphalt surface in this section and was extended to four meters. With the renaming of the area originally known as River City Prague to Riverside Karlín, the development of the office and leisure park is now complete.

“From the very beginning, our intention was to also open this wonderful place along the Vltava River to everyone, not only those who come here to work. And the new park was a great solution. This is where people can come together, children can play and everyone can find their oasis of peace and quiet,” commented Václav Jonáš, Director of CA Immo in the Czech Republic, who continued: “In Riverside Karlín you can already find cafés, restaurants for lunch, a wine bar with a gourmet shop and other businesses will gradually be added. In the autumn, a restaurant with a large outdoor garden and a view will be opening, next to which there will be an event space with a bar and an extensive cultural programme. Gradually, a new Karlín embankment will be created here, a pleasant place to spend free time in the open air with seasonal refreshments, as well as an accompanying cultural and sports programme. You can dance or play football on River Rink in the summer, then skate in the winter, or you can go watch stand-up. In the last season alone, around 40,000 people from all over Prague visited our ice rink for the second winter season in a row, and children from the surrounding preschools and primary schools can come here free of charge.”

The Riverside Karlín project consists of five buildings, Danube House, Nile House, Amazon Court, Mississippi House and Missouri Park, the last two of which were completed two years ago. All the buildings achieve the highest sustainability standards and together provide 85,000 m2 of prime office space. In addition to the aforementioned park, since September Riverside Karlín has its own preschool, which is a much needed service not only for workers from the adjacent offices, but also for families from Karlín and the surrounding area. In the future, there will be a further expansion of the services that are still lacking in the locality. Thus, everything will be available all in one place.
