CA Immo starts construction work on the new office complex called Bratislava Business Center 1 Plus (BBC 1 Plus), which is located centrally in the Bratislava Business District and will comprise 13-storeys with a rentable effective area of some 15,900 sqm and 313 indoor parking places. The building is constructed as extension with a seamless connection to the existing Bratislava Business Center 1. Bilfinger Berger have signed up as general contractor, and financing for the project has been secured by the Austrian Raiffeisen Landesbank Niederösterreich-Wien. The BBC 1 Plus will be constructed as a sustainable building and thus comply with specific ecological targets. Moreover, CA Immo is seeking to secure LEED certification for the structure.

„We definitely see a recovery on the the current market and we are quite optimistic that the leasing market for Class A office premises will receive more positive boosts over the next few months. The first pre-leases have already been signed which clearly demonstrates the interest of companies in high-quality office space. We are confident that further leases will be finalised early in 2011", says Bruno Ettenauer, CEO of CA Immo. Bilfinger Berger also assesses the situation in Slovakia promising. "The country will become an increasingly important market“, says Bilfinger Berger managing director Rudolf Kraft. „With our varied spheres of competence we are able to construct ressource efficient and environmentally compatible.“
