The New Danube House

Danube House, built in 2003 based on a design by the New Yorker firm Kohn Pedersen FOX (KPF) in collaboration with the Czech architectural firm ADNS, was already an icon at the time of its creation. The comprehensive renovation began in late 2024. In addition to the facade renovation – which improves the building’s form and accessibility while preserving its iconic visibility – the atrium has been redesigned. With floating platforms, lounges, suspended meeting rooms overlooking the river, as well as a large conservatory, a fitness center, an indoor climbing wall and a bistro serving healthy cuisine, the atrium has become the vibrant heart of the building. 

Flexible spaces and technical upgrades

The New Danube House offers 22,500 sqm of leasable space, 20,300 sqm of which is dedicated to offices. The floors’ spacious, open floor plans allow for efficient use of the space. The offices, ranging in size from 450 to 2,600 sqm, feature private balconies, winter gardens or roof terraces as well as the aforementioned floating meeting rooms overlooking the light atrium.  

Sustainable solutions – including energy-efficient and renewable heating and cooling sources (heat pumps) as well as advanced waste recycling – along with technology upgrades such as intelligent LED lighting and attractive outdoor spaces transform the building into a premier class A office location.
