In the past year, we used the historically low interest rate level consistently and fully funded and secured both the dynamic implementation of the project pipeline and the planned additions to the portfolio of CA Immo at long-term favourable conditions." 

Apart from the Corporate Bond award presented by the Vienna Stock Exchange and the award for exemplary financial communication (Austrian Financial Communication Awards) this is the third distinction for the financial department of CA Immo in the year 2017.

The CA Immo financing strategy
Taking maximum advantage of a favourable financing environment while attaining significant increases in the average terms of financing arrangements within the Group and a clear improvement in the interest hedging ratio were the primary aims of CA Immo in optimising its financing structure. Between 2016 and 2017, CFO Dr. Hans Volkert Volckens, Stefan Marker (CA Immo Group Head of Debt Funding Services) and Christoph Thurnberger (CA Immo Group Head of Capital Markets) successfully oversaw and realised a wide-ranging programme of optimisation measures. These included capital market financing measures such as the issuance of unsecured corporate bonds and convertible bonds together with various initiatives at project financing level that enabled low interest rates to be set for the long term.
