POLICE STATION IN VIENNA RENTS SPACE AT CA IMMO´S INVESTMENT PROPERTY

In the presence of government minister Johanna Mikl Leitner, a police station that has occupied CA Immo's Linke Wienzeile building at Storchengasse 1 since May formally, opened last Friday.

The police service will be renting approximately 520 sqm of usable space for a term of 25 years. Together with another tenant, the Austrian broadcaster ORF, who signed the lease agreement over 5.400 sqm lately, the building is now nearly let completely.

The building, which offers around 15,000 sqm of office space, has excellent links to public transport (Längenfeldgasse station on the U4/U6 lines) and the road network (Wiental/Westeinfahrt A1, Grünbergstrasse A23, A2, Gürtel ring road). Traffic interchanges such as the Westbahnhof and Südbahnhof railway stations, Vienna Airport and the city centre are within easy reach. Numerous shops are located nearby at Meidlinger Hauptstrasse and the U4-Center Meidling. Another major tenant for the building is ORF; the broadcaster lets 5,400 sqm of effective area, space which it started occupying early in August. Now that these two tenants have taken up residence, the building is almost fully let.
