CA Immo successfully completes the sale of Capital Square office building in Budapest
CA Immo has sold the 34,000 sqm office building Capital Square in the Vaci Corridor office submarket to WING
The multi-tenant building completed in 2009 offers a gross leasable area of approximately 34,000 sqm and around 600 parking spaces. As of February 2026, occupancy was about 85% with a WAULT of 4.1 years to end and annualised in place GRI of around €5.7m.
Keegan Viscius, CEO of CA Immo: “Based on market fundamentals and attractive alternative capital allocation options, we have decided to reclassify Hungary to a non-core market in 2023. This transaction is a further step in the implementation of our strategic capital rotation programme and on the way to exiting the Hungarian market. The proceeds from sale may be used in a number of ways, including general corporate purposes, accretive investment in our prime portfolio, repayment of debt, buyback of shares, and external investment should attractive opportunities arise.”

As of 31 March 2026, CA Immo's Hungarian portfolio consisted of four office buildings in Budapest (excl. Capital Square) with a total lettable area of around 72,000 sqm and a book value of around €140m. The portfolio includes three properties that are part of the Millennium complex and the City Gate office building. All Hungarian buildings have BREEAM Very Good or LEED Gold sustainability certification.
