CA Immo receives EPRA Gold Award for exemplary sustainability reporting

The European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA), which is representing the interests of the listed European property industry, has presented CA Immo reporting with several awards at its annual conference. The intensive further development of sustainability reporting was recognised twice: with the presentation of an "EPRA Sustainability Gold Award" and the "Most Improved Sustainability Award". In addition, CA Immo again received an "EPRA BPR Silver Award" for transparent financial reporting.

Andreas Quint, CEO of CA Immo: "As an energy- and emissions-intensive sector, the property industry can make a significant contribution to achieving climate targets. The fact that we are just as aware of this ecological and social responsibility as we are of our economic mandate should be reflected in our operating business and in our reporting. This award is an important milestone for us in our efforts to further increase the transparency and completeness of our sustainability reporting."

Since 2012, the EPRA has been presenting the annual Sustainability Awards with the aim of increasing the transparency of sustainability reporting in the real estate sector and creating continuity and comparability for investors within the European real estate industry. The EPRA Sustainability Best Practice Recommendations include requirements for the detailed disclosure of various environmental impacts of the portfolio (e.g. Carbon footprint of the property assets) as well as social and corporate governance performance indicators (ESG: Environmental, Social, Governance).
