CA Immo has signed a new 1,250 sqm lease in the Vienna office building ViE
A new tenant for the CA Immo office project completion ViE on Erdberger Lände has been confirmed: From February 2021, an institutional investment grade tenant will lease a total of approx. 1,250 sqm of office space on a long-term basis. Including this lease, the building is now around 90% let.
Other tenants in the building include the market research institute GfK, JTI Austria Gmbh/Austria Tabak GmbH, Eli Lilly GmbH, Delta Holding GbmH and Robert Bosch AG. On the ground level, a Billa supermarket has been rented on approx. 800 m².
The ViE office building was completed at the end of 2018 as the last building block of the Lände 3 district development and has been added to the CA Immo portfolio on completion. The center of the building, which has a capacity of around 13,600 m², is the two-storey lobby, which, in conjunction with a café and the green inner courtyard, offers a variety of communication and recreation zones. The building's seven (roof) terraces offer a variety of views into the greenery (Grüner Prater, Donaulände). 71 car parking spaces and 80 indoor bicycle parking spaces are available directly in the building. A separate entrance for athletes including showers, checkrooms and sanitary facilities complete the offer on the general areas of the building.
ViE: Attractive new working environment in central green location
Leading Paris-based architects Chaix et Morel et Associés are responsible for the striking design of the building, which is characterised by high transparency and seven (roof) terraces in total. As with all new buildings of CA Immo, stringent sustainability criteria was observed in the realisation of this structure, which was certified as a Green Building (DGNB Platinum Standard) after completion.
With an unobstructable location on the Donaukanal, the city and the airport are just minutes away; it is a five-minute walk to the underground (U3, Kardinal-Nagl-Platz) and a 20-minute walk to Vienna University of Economics and Business. The location of ViE is also ideal for cyclists thanks to the nearby intersection of two national cycle paths; along with the 71 car parking spaces, the building has storage rooms for bicycles and ground floor washing facilities for sportspeople. The multi-storey car park next door has spaces for up to 1,450 cars. The Wiener Prater is a stone’s throw away thanks to a pedestrian and cycle bridge crossing the Lände in front of the building.
