Jean Monnet Tower

The Jean Monnet Tower is situated in a central location in Berlin’s CBD Mitte, in the immediate vicinity of Berlin Central Station. The Jean Monnet Tower is also the architectural landmark of Europacity – a district development by the CA Immo Group – visible from afar. The building was designed by the Berlin-based architects Barkow Leibinger. It comprises 16 office floors with a gross floor area of around 18,900 sqm, and features 90 bicycle parking spaces and 200 car parking spaces, 40 of which are equipped with electric charging points.

Consistently sustainable
Jean-Monnet-Tower is a green building and has been awarded with gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). Only ecologically sound materials were used in the construction, with wood sourced from sustainably managed forests wherever possible. Thanks to the environmentally friendly construction method, including the facade, the primary energy consumption is below the requirements of the Building Energy Act (GEG).The high degree of daylight at workstations also contributes to a reduction in power consumption. Finally, the energy concept includes presence detectors and light sensors.
