Jasmin Lettner
Corporate Sustainability Manager

How has your role evolved since you joined?
Since returning to work, my focus has clearly shifted to the ESG area. My responsibilities include sustainability reporting, data management, and sustainability communications. As a Corporate Sustainability Manager, my work is now much more data-driven: I collect, validate, and prepare ESG data and actively contribute to the preparation of the ESG report – with a particular focus on the Social chapter, which I manage in close collaboration with HR. In addition, I am responsible for various ESG ratings and support preparations for external ESG audits. When capacity allows, I also continue to contribute to Corporate Communications, for example by supporting press releases or website content.
What skills are particularly important in your role?
Accuracy, clear communication, and – most importantly for me – adaptability. The ESG landscape is dynamic and often complex: I work with a wide range of frameworks, data sources, and tools. It is essential to stay composed, handle challenges confidently, and maintain a solution-oriented mindset. My role requires a strong willingness to learn and empathy, as I act as an interface across all departments. Analytical thinking and a solid understanding of complex interrelationships are equally key.
How do you experience responsibility and creative freedom while working part-time?
Even in a part-time role, I take full ownership of my responsibilities. I am able to make independent decisions and set priorities, which gives me real creative freedom. The high level of trust from my manager enables me to take on responsibility, contribute my strengths, and continuously develop – all within a framework that fits my current stage of life.
