(1) Each year, the Supervisory Board elects from its members one chairperson and one or two deputies at a meeting held immediately after the Ordinary General Meeting; no special invitation is required for the meeting, which is presided over by the eldest member present.
In the event that nobody gains an absolute majority in the election, a run-off is held between the two members with the most votes.
(2) Where the chairperson or a deputy resigns from their post during their term of office, the Supervisory Board must immediately hold an election to appoint a replacement for the person(s) stepping down.
(3) Re-elections are permissible.
(4) When acting as a representative of the chairperson, deputies shall have the same rights and obligations as the chairperson.
(5) The right to preside cannot be transferred to an ordinary Supervisory Board member.
